Google Play Music is a music streaming service that lets you listen to your favorite songs and albums online. You can create custom playlists, listen to radio stations based on your favorite artists, or listen to albums and singles from top artists. Google Play Music also offers a family plan that lets you share your subscription with up to five family members.
Recently, Google Play Music has been making some changes. The most noticeable change is that the Google Play Music website has been redesigned. The new website is much simpler and easier to use than the old website. However, some of the features that were available on the old website are no longer available on the new website.
Another change that has been happening recently is that the Google Play Music app has been updated. The updated app has a new look and new features. However, some of the features that were available in the old app are no longer available in the updated app.
So what happened to my Google Play Music?
The changes that have been happening recently are part of Google’s plans to merge Google Play Music with YouTube Music. YouTube Music is a music streaming service that is owned by Google. YouTube Music is very similar to Google Play Music, but it has a few additional features that Google Play Music does not have.
Google is planning to merge Google Play Music and YouTube Music so that users can access all of the features of both services in one place. The merge is not yet complete, so there are still some differences between Google Play Music and YouTube Music. However, over time, Google will be gradually merging the two services so that they are eventually the same.
If you are a Google Play Music subscriber, you will not be affected by the merge. You will be able to continue using Google Play Music just as you always have. However, over time, Google will be gradually moving all of the features of Google Play Music over to YouTube Music, so you may eventually want to switch to YouTube Music.
If you are not a Google Play Music subscriber, you may want to consider switching to YouTube Music. YouTube Music has a lot of features that Google Play Music does not have, and it is likely that over time, Google will be moving all of the features of Google Play Music over to YouTube Music.
So what can you do about it?
If you are a Google Play Music subscriber, there is nothing you need to do. You can continue using Google Play Music just as you always have.
If you are not a Google Play Music subscriber, you may want to consider switching to YouTube Music. YouTube Music has a lot of features that Google Play Music does not have, and it is likely that over time, Google will be moving all of the features of Google Play Music over to YouTube Music.
